Hoselton Auto Mall is looking for Sales Consultants for our busy Chevrolet, Toyota & Nissan dealerships!
Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Representatives to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. A self driven individual without sales experience is also welcome. As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales deals while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals. Meet and exceed sales targets by converting leads into sales opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our automotive inventory, features, and specifications. Educate customers on vehicle options, financing, and aftermarket products to meet their needs and preferences.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery. Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers to promote repeat business and referrals.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct needs assessments to understand customers' requirements and preferences. Recommend vehicles and additional products based on their budget, lifestyle, and usage.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers. Close sales transactions efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Documentation and Follow-Up: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently to finalize sales transactions. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, pricing strategies, and product improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales team, finance department, and other departments to achieve sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in automotive sales or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Consultant is directly responsible for selling vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.
DUTIES
- Focus on understanding and meeting customer needs
- Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on road
- Compute and quote sales price (including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discounts) and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit
- Demonstrate the ability to negotiate and be capable of addressing customer hesitation
- Suggest optional equipment for customer to purchase
- Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle
- Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations
- Maintain and utilize CRM database in a thorough and ethical manner
- Work with the Sales Manager to set personal sales goals and follow a method to achieve those objectives through training and consultations
- Keep up-to-date on new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics and a thorough understanding of prices, models, series, options, and other variations of the selling manufacturers' products, as well as competitive products and prices
- Self-motivated and ethical with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- High motivation, work ethic, and enthusiasm with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some computer knowledge and/or experience
- Ability to use a computer and navigate through a custom CRM
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
