We are looking for a Body Shop Estimator (experienced or willing to learn) to join the team in our NEWLY RENOVATED COLLISION SHOP!

• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
• Compensation: $45,000 - $56,000 based upon experience

What does an Estimator do?

• Excellent customer service is a top priority; it's our job to turn that customer's difficult situation around.
• Work with customers to complete an accurate estimate according to appropriate Insurance Company guidelines.
• Follow the job through the entire process from initial greeting, handling all insurance communications, overseeing parts ordering, keeping the customer updated, maintaining quality control, to final delivery.
• Identify repair work needed by working with customers and technicians to address hidden damage etc
• Compute repair cost, generate itemized repair order and explain the estimate to the customer.
• Keep customer informed and updated throughout the repairs.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction score at or above designated standards.

You Must...

• Have experience OR be eager and willing to learn with a drive for a career path in the auto industry!
• Having a NYS Independent Appraisers License and being familiar with the various insurance guidelines is a plus but not required!
• Have a high worth ethic and positive attitude, be organized and detail oriented
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the US, able to pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
